Transportation to Harbin
By Air:
- Harbin Taiping International Airport (HRB):
- Major airport serving Harbin with domestic and international flights.
- Direct flights from major cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and international hubs such as Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, and Vladivostok.
- About 45 km from downtown Harbin (40–60 minute drive).
- Shuttle buses and taxis available from the airport to the city.
By Train:
- High-Speed Rail (HSR):
- Harbin is part of China’s high-speed rail network, with fast trains from Beijing, Shenyang, Dalian, and Changchun.
- Travel time: Beijing to Harbin takes around 5–6 hours by high-speed train.
- Trains arrive at Harbin West Railway Station or Harbin Railway Station. Both ok.
- Regular Trains:
- Conventional trains offer a slower but scenic option, especially from northern China.
- Overnight trains available from Beijing and other major cities.
